1905: Helen Huntington Hooker is born in New York City to the prominent family of Elon and Blanche Ferry Hooker.
Young Helen displays an early interest in art. She crafts her first sculpture at age 6: a small rabbit.

1912: The Hooker family tours Europe. Blanche Ferry Hooker’s architectural photographs presage Helen’s Irish pictures from 1935 to 1975.

Need photos of HH as young girl, family portrait (if extant), as tennis champion (if can acquire clean copy), photos she may have taken at school or of school friends.
1923: Helen graduates from exclusive Chapin School in NYC and refuses to attend college. She lives in her own studio and joins the Art Student League of New York City where she takes classes from many distinguished artists from various fields.
